Ride Details
Thank you for your interest in Bike Around the Bay, benefiting the Galveston Bay Foundation. We hope you share our excitement with this unique ride, it promises to be another great time for everyone.
The 2010 Route

The route will be very similar to the route in 2007 and 2009. The start on Saturday will be at Fort Anahuac Park in Anahuac, Texas. Sunday's start will be from Moody Gardens.

Registration Charges
$100 - Early-bird registration until July 15!
$120 - Registration July 16 to September 30.
$140 - Late registration; online registration ends October 12.
Dinner and the beach party at Moody Garden's will be an additional fee of $20. Dinner will include a full buffet spread with pasta, chicken, shrimp, vegetables, dessert and drink tickets. Kelly McGuire will be providing entertainment at the beach party.

OVERNIGHT DETAILS
The overnight stay in Galveston, Texas at Moody Gardens Resort & Entertainment Center will be the high point of the day's journey and promises to relax and to re-energize the rider for the Day 2 excursions.
Registration fee includes:
- A fully supported route for 2 days.
- Courtesy shuttle bus to hotels listed below.
- Complimentary one year membership to the Galveston Bay Foundation.
- Cotton t-shirt.
Dinner and the beach party are not included in this year's registration fee and will be an additional charge of $20. But be sure to join us for a great dinner and party and Moody Garden's Palm Beach!
ACCOMMODATIONS
- Applicants are responsible for their own overnight accommodations.
- Call the hotel/motel of your choice to make your reservation; see the map below if you want to stay at a hotel that Bike Around the Bay will shuttle to/from.
- For other types of accommodations, consult www.Galveston.com
Overnight accommodations are not included in your registration fee, but we have reserved a limited number of discounted rooms at Moody Gardens. Please mention Bike Around the Bay when making your reservation. A shuttle will run from several nearby hotels to Moody Gardens. Additional hotels will be announced at a later time. Please call the hotel/motel of your choice to make your reservations.

LUGGAGE TRANSPORT

Ft. Anahuac Park Start: Luggage trucks will be available to transport riders' luggage to Moody Gardens. Each rider will receive 2-numbered adhesive luggage tags to be placed around luggage handles. Luggage without tags will not be accepted.
Moody Gardens/Overnight: Upon arrival to Moody Gardens, the luggage area will be located near the finish line. Riders may pick up their luggage at this location.

Moody Gardens: Luggage trucks will be available to transport riders' luggage to the finish line at Houston Raceway Park, Baytown, Texas
Houston Raceway Park: Upon arrival to Houston Raceway Park, the luggage area will be located near the finish line. Riders may pick up their luggage at this location.
SUNDAY BIKE TRANSPORTATION
Bike Around the Bay will transport participants and their bikes from Houston Raceway Park to Ft. Anahuac Park Sunday, October 17. This service is complimentary. Bikes will be returned in box trucks. Each bike is carefully wrapped in packing paper and secured in the truck. Rider number must remain on the bike for Sunday transportation.
SUNDAY RIDER TRANSPORTATION
Bike Around the Bay will provide complimentary shuttle bus service from the finish Houston Raceway Park to Ft. Anahuac Park on Sunday, October 17. Bus service is scheduled from Noon to 6:30pm.
