GBF offers a fundraising recognition program as an extra thank you to riders for their fundraising efforts to support Bike Around the Bay & the Galveston Bay Foundation. Prizes are available for the listed weeks above. We will notify you by e-mail at least two days before each prize is offered and we will post it on our website.
For every $25 you raise, you will earn one entry into a drawing. A winner will be picked from all the entries each week. Our "weeks" run from 12:01 a.m. Friday morning to midnight the following Thursday. Online, check, or cash donations count toward fundraising totals. Check or cash donations must be received at the Galveston Bay Foundation office (using this pledge form) by 5 p.m. on Thursday.
A winner will be picked from all entries within the week following the weeks' close. All drawings and decisions made by the Galveston Bay Foundation are final.
Remember, the number one reason people don’t give is because they haven’t been asked. E-mail and social media provides extra opportunity for family and friends who support you to share with their own contacts who may be interested in cycling or conservation! Also, matching gifts from any or your BAB supporters will count toward your total fundraising with credit received the week that GBF receives the matching gift request form.
